KEEP HER TO A CONFINED PLACE
Many of the kittens are panicked when they are brought to a new place. Being a good owner you need to make her calm and comfortable at the new place. Keep her to a confined place in your house, preferably a room. You can slowly expose her to other parts of your home, so she does not feel that shes lost. Make sure you are monitoring her at regular intervals of time. This is gonna help her get familiar with the new place. Cats prefer darker, cozy and quiet places.
MAKE SURE SHE HAS AN ACCESS TO LITTER BOX
Cats are considered to be hygienic and self-organized pets.B e sure, she has access to litter box all the time at the new place. Kittens are adaptable to littering habits, once you show her the right place for her for littering. Later, you can slowly move the litter box to its permanent place, once the kitten is well aware of her new home.
CUDDLING IS A GOOD IDEA
These little fur balls are one such pet who likes to cuddle or liked to be cuddled. A lot of cuddling can help you gain trust over her. Usually, cats take little time to settle down with the new place. Cuddling from owners side can help them gain trust and make them more comfortable with the new place.
MAKE SURE SHES COMFORTABLE:
Provide her with everything that she needs. You can arrange a sleeping place for her, not necessarily a bed for her. Make sure that she’s having water all the time, so she does not get dehydrated. Gift her some toys like a ball or a rope, so that she is engaged in playing activity.
UNDERSTANDING THEIR ACTIVITY PATTERN
Every cat has its own playing, sleeping and eating pattern. Some cats love to be active at night, while some like to play in the daytime. If you are not very comfortable with her activity pattern, you can slowly make changes to her habits by changing her feeding and playing time.
HOLD HER RIGHT
Many people, especially new pet owners do not know how to hold her. Be careful while holding her, so she does not feel uneasy in your arms.the correct way of holding her is by giving her support to her chest, just behind her front legs with one hand and supporting her hind legs with other hands.
GET HER INSPECTED BY A VETERINARY
Last but not least, if you have brought a new kitten into your home. Just be sure, your kitty is absolutely healthy and free from any kind of health issues or skin infections. Skin infections like fungal infections are very common in kittens. The little creature looks healthy and playful even if they have any kind of infections. Consulting a doctor before getting home can help to detect any kind of disease.
